BBQ, What is your Thanksgiving Faire?
We'll have 8 at the table, though our granson and his parents will remain in Dayton, Ohio for this holiday.
It started with a love of food, wine & fun and blossomed into a maddening pursuit of the best recipes, techniques, grills, smokers, wines, crafted beers, rubs, marinades and sauces... We do more than play with our meat though -- we review and discuss all things cooking, drinking, reading, laughing and living at SaucyJoe's.

The Millers will be doing our traditional turkey on the Weber grill, made simpler this year by gifts from the Grand Praire Brothers which keep the charcoals where they belong and the turkey sitting in style.
It's much like cooking in the oven, only there is some peanut oil rubbing which goes on ahead of time, and multiple additions of charcoal throughout the cooking process. Also, you have to go outside to get those wonderful Thanksgiving aromas that keep us salivating all afternoon.
Hook 'em Horns!!!
So, is Frank rubbing you with peanut oil, or are you rubbing him?
Sounds like a Happy Thanksgiving to me!!
No grilling on Thanksgiving for me. I'm up in Ohio with my Mom and the grill is shut down for the winter. We're cookin' Cornish Hens with all of the typical turkey day sides.
Sure am excited to cook and have a day full of lovely aromas!!
